recently i was mentioning Wittgenstein in a discussion
and specifically his idea at the end of the Tractatus, according to which "Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent."
Subi just showed me this video, and I really think it is not possible to say anything about it.
CHIKOS is finally online
Here is Chikos, a show I made with Maya in 2009. (more info about it here) After some technological struggles I finally managed to put the whole thing on Youtube without chopping it. Bonapetit.

Alona Rodeh - when you are here
a great video my dear friend Alona made. I think it's a beautiful example of how a specific gaze in the right context can give you a glimpse of a whole process. When you see this little moment in the car next to some of Alona's installations, her take on live art and kinetic, time-based sculpture becomes very clear. Nowadays, doing something so specific without making it literal and (pseudo-)intellectual is truly a blessing. Cheers babe! :-)
It also reminded me of this little one I made two years ago:
Here's another one of Alona's installations in Brener St. in Tel Aviv:
And continuing this very free stream of consciousness, here is a gorgeous piece by Brussels theatermaker Kris Verdonck:

Haraway's Manifestos
I'm working on this beautiful text now by Donna Haraway called "the Companion Species Manifesto". Haraway, who in the 80's wrote the groundbreaking "Cyborg Manifesto", became at the turn of the millennium more and more interested in animals, and especially dogs. At some point she writes: "I tell stories about stories, all the way down. Woof."

Preparing the Catastrophe Clock
Here's a couple of videos I took yesterday when Maya and me installed the Catastrophe Clock at the Lunapark, for the festival that starts today. It works very funny there and I'm curious how the whole thing will be.
